At EduFuture we understand that teaching can be a very stressful job - this upcoming course will be largely held outdoors, providing hands-on experiences and practical workshops in natural environments. You will actively participate in outdoor activities, discussions, and group exercises to directly experience the benefits of outdoor learning. Expert facilitators will share theoretical knowledge, present successful case studies, and guide you in developing effective outdoor teaching methods.

• The background of outdoor learning in education

• The benefits of outdoor learning for you and your students

• The various forms of outdoor learning and connecting with nature

• Practical exercises to start using outdoor learning in your everyday teaching

• Setting up an own mindful practice

At the end of the course, you will leave with a toolbox of practical exercises which you can use in your classroom to enhance student engagement, foster critical thinking, and cultivate a deeper connection with nature.

 

The methodology of our courses

• Information. A general introduction on each of the topics.

• Observation. Observe teaching, studying and learning in small groups or individually.

• Sharing. Share experiences and expertise on the different topics in workshops.

• Creating output. Working individually and in groups on a concrete product to be used in your own school.
