At EduFuture we understand that teaching can be a very stressful job - and so can being a principal. Practicing mindfulness can serve as a valuable antidote to the stress many of us experience during our school day. That is why we developed this firsthand course, for you as a teacher who wants to know more about mindfulness, positive pedagogy, and what the benefits are for yourself and your students, and how to integrate all these newly gained practices into your classroom.

  • The background of mindfulness in education

  • The benefits of mindfulness and positive pedagogy for you and your students

  • The various forms of mindfulness practices 

  • Practical exercises to start using mindfulness and positive pedagogy in your classroom

  • Setting up an own mindful practice

At the end of the course, you will leave with a toolbox of practical exercises which you can use in your classroom to create a more inclusive and mindful learning environment.

 

The methodology of our courses

  • Information. A general introduction on each of the topics.

  • Observation. Observe teaching, studying and learning in small groups or individually.

  • Sharing. Share experiences and expertise on the different topics in workshops.

  • Creating output. Working individually and in groups on a concrete product to be used in your own school.
